95 Civic bended rear trailing arm remedy.?

My car is a 95 Del Sol
I was drifting and it went out of control, I ended up hitting the curb. The driver side rear wheel was bent. I thought it was because the rear control arm was bent. But it’s the REAR TRAILING ARM.

Replacing the whole trailing arm will cost me too much money and time. I am thinking of a temporary way to fix the problem.
Maybe I can buy a pair of adjustable rear camber arms and adjust it to make the camber right. That way, even if the trailing arm is bent, but the actual cam ber of the wheel can still be right.

What you guys think of it??

If it is bent enough to where you can visually tell it is bent, a camber kit is not going to put it back into specs.Without replacing the arm, the only other way is to try to bend it back in position and then check the alignment readings and then repeat if needed.

Summer project, coming up with ideas for a sleeper

It looks like it would fit. It would need customization to make it perfect. You would surprise a lot of people and it would be a fun car.

I’ve seen mk1 golf gti’s and mini coopers with the b18c, space won’t be a problem. Engine coversions from different manufacturers don’t come cheap or quick, but I presume you have the correct funds/knowledge.

Cosmetically standard jetta with that screaming engine, very cool.

Sweet mercy help my overheating 93 Honda Civic?

1993 Honda Civic Si 1.6L overheating. It only overheats when it idles after about 15 minutes of driving. I’ve also noticed that lately when driving on the highway the RPMs are higher than usual.

Radiator fan works
Replaced the following:
-radiator
-radiator cap
-radiator hoses
-thermostat
-thermostat gasket

Same thing–begins overheating slowly if you drive for 15 min and then idle. I

-The exhaust does NOT smell sweet and I didn’t see any oil in the coolant the many times I’ve drained it.

-the water pump was replaced 2 years ago with the timing belt.

What could it be?!!?!?! Please help!

it sounds like a faulty water pump or a blockade in the cleaning system. such a problem only occurs when the coolant is not circulating enough.

Difference between JDM DC2 98 Spec Honda Integra Type R & USDM/CDN Acura Integra Type R? ITR?

I would like to know in FULL DETAIL what is the complete difference between the JDM ITR and the USDM/CDN ITR. The motor, things around the engine bay, emission differences, full detailed specs, body, suspension, interior, etc etc. The list goes on. I need to know EXACTLY what the differences is before importing a JDM RHD ITR. If they are some what identical then there is no point.

I know of the obvious changes (headlights, front and rear bumpers, wheels, A/C , steering wheel, instrument cluster, shift knob and Recaro seats) that the JDM ITR has but I’m looking for specific differences in motor & emissions. Basically looking for information if this car is legally able to be imported from Japan into BC, Canada and AirCared by 2013. Car must be 15 years or older to be imported into Canada from another country outside of North America.

Honda Civic or the Acura?

I’m getting a car from my parents, but I don’t know which one is better…the civic or acura TL?

They are both excellent cars, but there are important differences.

The Civic will go much farther on a gallon of gas than the TL will.

The TL requires premium fuel.Your annual fuel costs in the TL will be about $1,000 per year higher if you drive 12,000 miles per year.

Both have excellent safety records, but as a larger car the TL may have a slight advantage.

The TL will cost more to insure than the Civic will, especially for a young driver.

Take the Civic…The TL is nice and all, but if its you’re first car you should take the Civic for cheaper insurance rates, and probably better gas milage too.

The TL is about 100x’s better than the civic! But yeah it would likely be more on insurance and on fuel. A civic si would be cool or maybe an acura CSX or TSX would be good too

Thoughts on the Honda CRV?

Thinking about possibly getting a Honda CRV and just want to hear what people who have this car think of it.

As it so happens, I am currently shopping for a replacement crossover SUV. I have decided on getting another Subaru Forester, after doing extensive research and some test drives. Close second is the Toyota RAV4. Consensus on the Honda CR-V is that it has some issues which would put in lower in the rankings. Consumer Reports Auto Issue (April, 2011) lists it as a Recommended choice, even so. They say, "noticeable road noise" and "cargo space and rear corner visibility compromised somewhat by styling."

A good SUV, but pretty outdated compared to others in the class. It’s reliable and it will do the job but it doesn’t have any real advantages over any other small SUV’s, especially for the price Honda is asking for it.
Not the most roomy, most powerful or the most fuel efficient.

I love them. I have a Honda civic, not by choice. I was looking to get a CRV. They aren’t the biggest SUV, and they aren’t the smallest. It’s an inbetween and that what I love about them!

What year? That makes a difference.

Help! 2001 honda s2000?

i got a honda s2000 2001 .. i got a check engine light 80 k miles. !! PO401 what is it ? and how can i fix it thanksss.

the code P0401 is the an E.G.R. low flow…most Honda’s have ports and or plugs the you can remove to clean out the carbon build up in the EGR ports…As far as i know the S2000 does not have ports or plugs that you can remove to clean the EGR ports out…you may need to replace the intake manifold…oh and don’t be fooled into using some kind of spray cleaner…the carbon build up in the intake is solid as a rock and require physical removal…but I do remember back in the day the honda crx hf had EGR ports similar to the S2000 and had no access to clean out and we would have to replace the Intake manifold sorry to give you the bad news….i hope this was helpful
